Program Description:

Study Abroad in Florence

From fashion houses to design companies to major wine labels, Florence hosts world-renowned brands, small and family businesses, and traditional artisan workshops.  The Study + Internship program in Florence allows you to make steady progress toward your academic degree while developing practical skills in fields such as museum studies, marketing, culinary arts, public relations, design, tourism, and more.  The program incorporates a professional internship placement into your semester or summer study program.  Our strong academic focus,  personalized placements dedicated to meaningful experiences that make a real impact, and multiple options and price ranges - from 8-week summer sessions to a full semester program - allow you to take care of those degree requirements and give your career a boost all while gaining the international experience you’ve been seeking. An Intensive Italian Language track is available in the fall semester, allowing you to quickly improve your language skills and enhance your working relationships.

Where You'll Study

The CEA Florence Center offers a variety of courses that allow you to explore all that Florence has to offer, with your professors as guides. Classes are small, taught in English, and take full advantage of the city just beyond our doors. Experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom are plentiful and bring lessons to life, exposing you to new perspectives and starting you on your journey toward global citizenship. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
