Program Description:

Study Abroad in Madrid

Turn the global city of Madrid into your classroom. The Study + Internship program in Madrid allows you to Incorporate a professional internship placement into your semester study program and make progress toward your degree while gaining practical skills in a variety of career fields. Courses are taught both at the CEA Madrid Center and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. Learn more about the benefits of a CEA internship.

Where You'll Study

The CEA Madrid Center’s courses that are designed to increase your understanding of the diverse history, politics, and culture of Spain. Faculty uses the city as an extended classroom, allowing you to not only acquire discipline-specific knowledge, but also create intellectual links between your courses and the city.
Known for its focus on Spanish language learning, Universidad Antonio de Nebrija also offers a wide range of courses, taught in Spanish and English, on its centrally located Madrid campus. This small, private university hosts hundreds of international students each year. Students receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA's school of record, and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija upon completing the program.
