In Rome and Christianity, students will learn about how culture and theology intertwine so that each is changed by the other. Particular attention will be given to paleo-Christian thru Renaissance Theology. Themes include: faith and reason; grace and free will; church and state, martyrs and bishops; Christians and Romans; mysticism and monasticism; and biographies and events. This is an unforgettable artistic, theological, historical, and cultural exploration of Rome, Assisi, Florence, and Milan.
