Business Decision-Making in a Changing World
Course:  Topics in Management (MGMT 399) or Topics in International Studies (+IS 210).  You will choose one to be added to your Spring Semester Course Load.  Once accepted into the program, the Center for International Education will register you for your chosen course.  The course will meet 6-8 times before departure; the meeting schedule will be worked out between the program participants and Prof. Peng.

Program Price (subject to change): $3,919 (paid online to EF College Study Tours) plus $200 SAU Study Abroad Fee (added to your SAU Spring Semester Bill).  Total: $4,119*  

Course Description:
In this course, we will learn how multi-national businesses in London and Paris are adjusting to changing political and economic conditions. London & Paris are the ideal locations for such a course because they are sophisticated cosmopolitan cities with a thriving international population, economy, and culture. London is the beating heart of the British economy. It is a famous hub internationally for business, finance and the creative industries. Around 75% of fortune 500 companies have offices in London.  Paris is the political and economic capital of France. It accounted for 30% of the wealth generated in France. As an important location in the European Union, Paris has many international agencies such as European Institute for Security Studies(ISS) and European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Both London and Paris are exciting places for students with a passion for business.
Through course work, cultural experiences, guest speakers, inputs from diverse businesses and organizations while abroad, this study abroad course will enable students to connect their learning experiences inside and outside of the classroom, in the real world.
