CAPA Global Business Institute in Florence!


The CAPA Global Business Institute is a Certificate Program in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration. You'll take AACSB accredited courses, participate in an optional internship, go on group visits to businesses in Florence, and develop a sharply focused competence in business in a global context.

The CAPA Program Fee for GBI Florence includes:
  • 15 Credits from the University of Pittsburgh, an AACSB founding member and accredited institution 
  • Classes held at the CAPA Florence Center in the beautiful Palazzo Galli-Tassi built in 1400 just a few streets from the Duomo
  • Certificate in Global Business from the University of Pittsburgh's College of Business Administration
  • Optional Italian-speaking internship placement within the business field
  • Site visits to businesses and corporations in Florence
  • Shared apartment housing (homestay with daily breakfast and dinner available for a supplemental fee during the semester)
  • A Florence bus pass for the dates of the program
  • Full-day excursion to Siena and San Gimignano
